Volstead Brewing Co produces and sells award-winning beers in cans to NZ supermarkets and liquor stores and in kegs to bars throughout the country. With our own craft beer destination bar right next door, Volstead Trading Co, we also sell a range of beer from NZ's other top craft breweries. Located close to the University of Canterbury and Hagley Park on Riccarton Road, "Volstead" has been a Christchurch craft beer institution for nearly 14 years.Business ResourcesOur brewery has full production facilities, with a state-of-the-art ABE canning line and in line labelling machine, and the capability to comfortably brew up to 156,000L of beer annually. Our bar has 25 taps to serve a wide range of products, a small kitchen pumping out a great range of pizzas and bar snacks, and all run by our efficient and knowledgeable staff.
